The Days of Elijah - Bible Study

The Days of Elijah - Bible Study |
INSTRUCTIONS
The purpose of this Bible study is to take you through the story of Elijah found in the books of 1st and 2nd Kings. It is intended to be done with a group and in tandem with reading the novel The Days of Elijah. I will occasionally make mention of the book, however, the novel is not strictly required. It is entirely possible to simply go through the biblical version of the story with this study if you so desire.
With that said, I would strongly encourage you to walk through the study with a group, as you will likely get more out of the study by hearing other people’s perspectives on the situations Elijah finds himself in.
The study is designed in smaller sub-sections and the intent is for you to move through it at your own pace. It largely focuses on my own thoughts on the story of Elijah, and as such, brings out elements I personally found interesting when writing the book. The study generally asks open ended questions and is meant to serve as a framework for looking at the themes present in the story. If along the way, you find other elements of the story worth pursuing, I’d encourage you to do so.
Discussion and varying opinions are encouraged.
Feel free to reach out to me if you have any problems, that's what the contact form is for.
